Alex always leads with his good heart, and tries to do his best. Unfortunately, he’s also prone to being awkward and dorky, and is keenly self-aware of the way he comes across. When monsters threaten, he valiantly fights back with his Lokon sword. A creative soul, Alex is prone to putting too much expectation on himself, and tends to run away with his emotions.

Dakota Radley

Weapon: Lokon spear
Kind, compassionate and strong-willed, Dakota is the de-facto leader of the team in part due to her family connection to the Lokon weapons. She puts her talent as a dancer to good use in combat, wielding her Lokon spear with grace and finesse. Despite her warm nature, she’s not averse to teasing (particularly Alex) and has a fearsome competitive streak.

Bao Thomson

Weapon: Lokon tonfa-blades
Sometimes Bao’s focus is all over the place, and sometimes he’s completely in the zone… whether it’s an important zone or something completely irrelevant. He’s a gamer, a dynamo, and a loyal friend. Surprisingly nimble, he darts around the battlefield striking with his dual Lokon tonfa-blades. On occasion, even he can grow frustrated with his own difficulty to keep track of what’s important.

Zahid Hassan
Age: 16-18

Weapon: Lokon axe
Zahid comes across as a too-cool-for-school loner: gruff and with little patience for his more hyperactive new teammates. But his attitude hides quick-thinking, quick wit and a dependable nature. His preferred battle style is to go in swinging with his Lokon axe and cut the monsters down. Zahid’s thin patience can occasionally lead to outbursts thanks to his violent temper.

Kendal Carr

Weapon: Lokon bow
One way to describe Kendal’s attitude to life is “seize the day”. Endlessly outgoing, she constantly seeks the new and the exciting, and with a bunch of new friends in her life, she makes sure to drag them along for the ride. Her Lokon bow gives her a long-distance advantage, putting her sharpshooting to the test. Kendal’s thrill-seeking comes at the cost of potentially everything else.

Kitty Townsend

Weapon: Lokon claw
The newest member of the team, Kitty carries the scars of a troubled home life, at first being very withdrawn and never being the most sociable of people. Even then, she has a big heart and an artistic talent which help her fit right in with her new friends. In battle, she moves quickly and brawls with her specially-made Lokon claw. Kitty still has a long way to go in moving beyond her past.

Lokonessence
A preternatural force of creation bound to a set of weapons by a man named Nick Riley. Each weapon taps into a portion of the force, colour-coded and resonating with certain personalities. Its mechanics are unclear, and its fullest potential is unknown.
